Michael Aromolaran

CEO and Chief Analytics Officer

As the CEO and Chief Analytics Officer, Michael leads both the direct action (causes & programs) division and the management consulting divisions at TEA. As the leader of the direct-action division, Michael leads the efforts in creating programs that help reduce disparities in education achievement, healthcare outcomes, and wealth building found between white and BIPOC communities.  As the leader of the management consulting division, Michael helps organizations in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education, and energy services industries and local and state government agencies create and institutionalize anti-racist, inclusive, and equitable policies, and practices to build competitive workplaces and regional economies.

Michael has over 24 years’ experience the private and social sectors with Accenture, Ascena Retail, Calvin Klein, Stein Mart, Lowes, Logic Information Systems, Center for Economic Inclusion (CEI), and other firms leading business readiness, third party assessments, strategy consulting, operations management, leadership, and change management. Michael previously served as CEO of Next Great Student in Atlanta, providing start-up, product development, and leadership for the online education platform service provider, which was later acquired by Pearson Inc.  Michael has a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Computer Science from New College, Oxford University.  Michael also has an MBA from Carlson School of Management, UofM.

As a partner and public sector lead, De’Vonna leads The Equity Advantage’s public sector consulting practice team. She facilitates efforts to create broad, measurable shared accountability among public, local, regional, and statewide leaders and policy makers by equipping leaders and agencies with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to close racial wealth gaps and accelerate inclusive economic competitiveness through racially equitable workforce, land use, economic development, housing, transportation, and infrastructure policies and investments.  An experienced leader, De’Vonna has spent almost two decades in public service. Prior to joining The Equity Advantage, De’Vonna gained expansive experience at Hennepin County; her work in the community ranges from managing million-dollar budgets and contracts to working with former offenders and individuals on probation.  As Assistant to the Director of Disparity Reduction at Hennepin County, she successfully executed and led strategic operations of the disparity reduction strategy across all lines of business. De’Vonna managed and coordinated internal and external racial equity efforts in education, employment, income, housing, health, justice, and transportation.  A community connector, De’Vonna has been committed to facilitating dialogue that empowers women, their families, and the communities they live in.
